We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support large-scale CAPEX projects within the pharmaceutical industry. As part of a high-performing project controls organization, you will play a central role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules for highly complex and regulated project environments.
This position is well-suited for a seasoned professional who thrives on structure, accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with engineering, construction, procurement, and project management teams to ensure reliable planning, transparency, and alignment across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project planning activities for large-scale CAPEX initiatives, typically exceeding multi-hundred-million EUR in investment.
Develop, update, and monitor detailed project schedules across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and qualification phases.
Ensure planning standards, methodologies, and templates are consistently applied across the project portfolio.
Analyze schedule performance, identify risks and delays, and propose actionable mitigation strategies.
Integrate planning input from contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to maintain schedule accuracy.
Prepare and deliver schedule reports, dashboards, and progress updates to project managers and senior leadership.
Collaborate closely with cost controllers, risk managers, and other project control functions to support integrated project planning.
Contribute to continuous improvement of planning tools, governance, and reporting structures.
About You
10+ years of experience in project planning within the pharmaceutical sector or other highly regulated industries.
Proven expertise planning large-scale CAPEX projects (multi-hundred-million EUR).
High proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and related planning tools.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments with multiple interfaces.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written).
Knowledge of Danish is an advantage but not required.
